CF look, PETG toughness

My company had a very good experience with the original CFPLA and decided to try some of the CFPETG. The look is VERY similar to the PLA, just a bit more glossy (typical for PETG). It's less rigid than the PLA, but stiffer than regular PETG. The more flexible filament moves slightly easier through Bowden tubes than the original CFPLA. We're very happy with this blend and will be using it for our more functional prints. I haven't noticed any quality issues with it being recycled, and we print 0.2mm layer height all day. The slight temperature resistance increase is nice as well. We tested our prints on a hot car dash in the FL summers, no deformation with this CFPETG while the CFPLA deformed easily. It's hot down here! One recommendation I have for successful printing is to print a temperature tower first. We've found this blend likes a lower temp than most PETG out there. Start at 210 and work your way up.

Excellent Material

This CF PETG is probably the nicest looking material I have ever printed with. It is easy to work with, no detectable warping and a truly amazing as printed finish. This material has become my go-to filament for basically any print that doesn't require a specific material.

Carbon Fiber and PET-G seem to work very well together

I had some extra spending money from the holidays, and for me that means splurging on some nice filament. I bought a 1 kg roll of this filament, and I think I'm going to be getting more in the future. The printing quality is fantastic. Extrusion is consistent so I can assume that there is very little variation in the filament diameter. Being filled with carbon fiber, prints also have the characteristic sparkling or shiny finish associated with CF-filled materials. Additionally, the filler helps cut down on PET-G's gloss.

Awesome Material

I use the CF PETG to manufacture products for my company and it has provided superior strength and print quality compared to other PETG materials I have used in the past with the same print settings. Buy with confidence

My new go-to PETG!

I received a 500g roll of this with the PETG Endless Pastabilities. I was hoping that, like with their CF PLA, Protopasta would make a definitive CF PETG. I am happy to say, the material has met my expectations. I will be keeping a roll of this on hand for the foreseeable future. It prints well, and the prints themselves are comparable in overall rigidity to normal, unfilled PLA, which for PETG, is amazing. Also, the Carbon Fiber fill does wonders for warping, and I can print thin-walled objects without noticeable bowing.
