Endless PLA #34 (December 2024) - A time for celebration!

Shut out everything that's going on in the world. Close your eyes and think about your favorite holiday memories. What do you hear? See? Smell? It's the feeling of this time of year (and a notable milestone) that inspired this month's shipment.

First, the milestone. We're celebrating 11 years of Protopasta so how about a birthday cake-inspired filament that looks like Funfetti? Filafetti Confetti Frosting is the indulgent glitter goodness you love and expect from Protopasta. Wonder why we didn't call it Wonder White? So do I...

Our second contemporary filament is Sparkling Spruce, an opaque green with silver glitter. It's like lights or snow twinkling on a tree. It's just feels right for the season. Enjoy!

The last contemporary color riffs on an old concept. Years ago, I was into making filaments smell good when we introduced pine, coffee, cinnamon, etc. Natural ingredients add a beautiful texture, faint scent, and, often times, brown color.

Cinnamon and pine are smells of the season! Walk into any craft or home improvement store, and a warm, spicy scent tickles your nose. Made with real cinnamon, we added red to make Red Hot Cinnamon! You might even notice the scent of cinnamon when printing. Does adding smell make it 4D printing?

These three contemporary colors (above left) are perfectly complimented by December's three classic colors (above right). For our classics, we chose Holiday Pine, Wonder Blue, and Dusty Smoke. We hope you enjoy all six and can't wait to see what you print!
