The Protopasta Fil-anthropy Fund is proud to partner with the The Elevate Collective, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to expanding access to mental health and medical care for individuals and families facing financial hardship.

The Elevate Collective, led by Founder Veronica Sherwood, has created the cutest line of fidgets, trinkets, and tools to remind you to slow down and breathe.
The idea was sparked by Cynthia Holmquest, who saw an opportunity to take two moms with a shared love for 3D printing—often creating alongside their kids—and turn that passion into something meaningful that could help others.
These will be offered in exchange for a suggested contribution, and all proceeds will go directly toward a "Patient Support Fund" to help cover essential care such as appointments, medications, and crisis support.

From Founder Veronica Sherwood:
At Elevate Minds Psychiatry, we take a thoughtful, personalized approach to mental health care. Our team works with individuals and families to better understand symptoms, explore treatment options, and develop a plan that supports long-term wellness. We serve patients across the lifespan, from children to adults, supporting individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more complex conditions such as PANDAS and PANS. As we care for patients across multiple states, we see firsthand how often cost becomes a barrier to consistent, necessary care.
So how can you help? Your $20 purchase secures 1kg of PLA towards the production and distribution of Elevate's toys, fidgets, and sensory items for the clients served by Elevate Minds Psychiatry, and anyone else who might need a little reminder of how much they matter!

----------

Protopasta is a small company comprised of caring people who are environmentally conscious and community-focused. We're a little obsessed with the things that matter to us like quality, creativity, independence, and doing the right thing. We see physical and social well-being as key components to unlocking creativity.

We don't overcommit to mass production for thin margins because we don't want to be consumed by making the same as everyone else, over and over again. We stay creatively limber by making new things every month, and we want to do extend this by identifying causes we can impact with our competency in making unique, cherished filaments. Focusing on a cause, together we can achieve anything!

While goals and results matter, so does the experience getting there. Even through strife, binding together for good can be a positive and uplifting experience where we overcome fear-mongering fascists. Does that make us punks? Hippies? We don't know, but it's what makes us, us.

We do our best work outside corporate constraints, though this uncapped creativity can serve the corporate world as well. If you can beat 'em, work with them, but that shouldn't happen at the sacrifice of your values!
