Like Carbon Fiber PLA, Carbon Fiber PETG is a performance value. It requires higher printing temperatures than Carbon Fiber PLA, but is still quite easy to print with bed temperatures from 70+ C and nozzle temps 235+ C. Higher nozzle temps improve layer adhesion, but risk overheating when printing too slow. We print up to 275 C, but 255 C is a good compromise. Start with a Generic PETG profile and adjust if/as needed.
Like other PETGs, material can stick to the nozzle. Drying may not resolve this completely. In this case, consider reducing the flow rate to less than 100% to reduce buildup. Further, you might add a nozzle wipe at layer change with custom gcode.
PETG-CF is more flexible and than Carbon Fiber PLA and HTPLA, but less stiff. It also has a thermal performance in between PLA and heat treated PLA. Consider PCTG as a PETG alternative for improved durability and chemical resistance. More details in our blog.
