Protopasta Clear PCTG is easy to print with bed temperatures from 80+ C and nozzle temps 255+ C. Higher nozzle temps improve layer adhesion, but risk overheating when printing too slow. We print up to 275 C, but 255 C is a good compromise. Start with a Generic PETG or PCTG profile and adjust if/as needed.

Like other PCTGs and PETGs, material can stick to the nozzle. Drying may not resolve this completely. In this case, consider reducing the flow rate to less than 100% to reduce buildup. Further, you might add a nozzle wipe at layer change with custom gcode.

PCTG is more ductile than HTPLA, but less stiff. PCTG has a thermal performance in between PLA and heat treated HTPLA. Consider PCTG as a PETG alternative for improved durability, UV, and chemical resistance. More details in our blog.
