Use as a resistor. Typical resistance for 10 cm of 1.75 mm filament is 2.0-3.5 kohm.

Measured resistance will vary. 3D print resistance depends on geometry and settings.

Returns

Electrify prints for Simple Circuits & Touch-Sensitive Devices!

  • Available in 1.75 & 2.85 (3) mm diameters.
  • 50g are loose coils, 500g is on a 8" diameter spool, 2kg is on a 12" diameter spool.
  • Prints with standard PLA settings (or hotter) - no heated bed or special nozzle required
  • Usable on most PLA-compatible printers, such as Makerbot, FlashForge, Dremel, Ultimaker, Printrbot, and more!
  • Great for simple circuitry and interactive projects
  • Also experiment with ESD or 3D printed bearings!

How Conductive Is It?

  • Typical resistance of a 10cm length of 1.75mm filament: 2.0-3.5 kohm
  • Typical resistance of a 10cm length of 2.85mm filament: 0.7-1.3 kohm

Best ESD PLA

Out of all the Conductive/ESD safe filaments, this one is by far my favorite. It is very easy to print, and after thousands of tools made, I have never had one that was not ESD safe. Another major bonus is the minimal carbon filler material. All the other brands I tried had a tendency to generate conductive FOD. Or some brands go in the opposite direction and end up not being conductive enough to be ESD safe. Highly recommend
