For Simply Clear PETG, we minimize processing and ingredients, without sacrificing quality, for an exceptional value. There's nothing basic about the care and consideration this material is made with.

Simply Clear PETG includes:

  • 100% new PETG for the highest quality result
  • quality ingredients plus in-house processing for curated chemistry
  • minimal packaging with recyclable cardboard spools
  • processing from 230+ C @ 2 cu mm/s volume rate, 70+ C bed
  • less rigid than PLA and HTPLA for more flex before break
  • more heat resistance than PLA, but less than heat treated HTPLA

Returns

At ProtoPlant's discretion, returns and replacements will be accepted within 90 days of purchase.  Please check the material label before opening your product.  Only sealed product can be returned. Shipping of items for exchange or refund is paid by the customer. I've learned now, anytime I'm worried about material properties, it's actually been my printer settings. This filament (and any from Protopasta so far) exceeded my expectations. It's mechanically 'tougher' than PLA, tougher being a relative term, as it's not really descriptive of strength/ductility. In additional to making for hastle free printing. Even using an older printer it has printed for me nearly identically to PLA, without much setting tweaks other than recommended temperatures. Can be very clear with tweaks to temperature, extrusion, and cooling, and produces excellent parts.

Great looking, easy to use recycled filament

I ordered these two PETG filaments to test using PETG for the first time and I had a great experience. It was super easy to use and turned out so pretty! I love how shiny it is. Also love that it's recycled because I'm trying to keep all of my prints eco friendly.
