Like Carbon Fiber PLA, Protopasta Carbon Fiber PCTG is a performance value. It requires higher printing temperatures than Carbon Fiber PLA, but is still quite easy to print with bed temperatures from 70+ C and nozzle temps 255+ C. Higher nozzle temps improve layer adhesion, but risk overheating when printing too slow. We print up to 275 C, but 255 C is a good compromise. Start with a Generic PETG or PCTG profile and adjust if/as needed.

Like other PCTGs and PETGs, material can stick to the nozzle. Drying may not resolve this completely. In this case, consider reducing the flow rate to less than 100% to reduce buildup. Further, you might add a nozzle wipe at layer change with custom gcode.

Black High Strength Carbon Fiber PCTG is stronger and more ductile than Carbon Fiber PLA and HTPLA, but less stiff. It also has a thermal performance in between PLA and heat treated HTPLA.
